Bembridge Lifeboat Called out after Anchor gets Stuck

RNLB Norman Harvey (D-778) was launched at the request of the UK Coastguard at around 5.30pm this afternoon to assist a 20 foot trimaran anchored on the lee shore just to the east of Bembridge Groyne with 2 crew onboard who were unable to get their anchor up. A member of the Inshore life boat crew was transferred to the trimaran and the anchor was then able to be pulled free. A tow was set up and the trimaran was taken into the harbour and handed on the Harbour Staff. The Norman Harvey then returned to the station and was recovered by 6pm
