Coastguard rescue helicopter called to carry out daring cliff rescue in Weymouth
The Lee on the Solent based Coastguard rescue helicopter has been scrambled in the early hours of Sunday morning to carry out a daring cliff rescue in Dorset we can reveal. Rescue 175 was mobilised to assist the Wyke coastguard search and rescue team who has been called to a casualty who is 400 metre up to a cliff in Weymouth. The coastguard team were called just after 1 am and the helicopter just after 4 am and the coastguard shortly after. More to follow
