Heartless Thieves Steal Late Mother’s Ashes in Paulsgrove Burglary
A Paulsgrove woman is left shattered after heartless burglars ransacked her home and stole a crystal box containing her late mother’s ashes. The raid happened late yesterday afternoon at her Deerhurst Crescent house.
She revealed the devastating loss, saying, “I’m devastated. I’m appealing for whoever took the ashes to have the decency to return them.” The ashes were kept in a simple cardboard box, and she suspects the thieves thought it might be valuable. “To us, it’s priceless. To them, it’s useless.”
Burglars Kick in Door, Swipe Sentimental Treasures
The raiders forced entry through the rear UPVC door, believed to have been kicked in. Along with the ashes, they stole jewellery and other household items. The sentimental haul includes:
- Men’s Armani watch
- Women’s Armani watch
- Tiffany ring
- Tiffany earrings
- Swarovski ring
- Diamond bracelet
- Charm bracelet
These items hold huge emotional value and are irreplaceable.
Police Hunting Burglars, Appeal for Witnesses
Police believe passers-by may have seen the raiders fleeing the scene. They are urging anyone with information or who has been offered the stolen jewellery to get in touch.
