Updated:Emergency services called to Brading Down

Emergency Services have been called to Brading down on the Isle of Wight following a vehicle collision. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jonlRehhp7k Police, Fire crews and Paramedics have all been called to the incident that happened just after 4pm on Wednesday. Police have closed the downs in both directions and vehicles are being turned near the collision The incident is between Downend Road and Knighton Shute. Fire crews have helped free four people in their mid-sixties from the yellow KIA that’s on its roof in a field. Those involved do not seem to be seriously injured as a result of the collision. Paramedics are checking those involved. One ambulance and one fire crew are at the scene The Pensioners have are now in the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and have all been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital as a precautionary measure. Update @ 5pm The road is set to remain closed for the recovery to the overturned vehicle by Police Traffic on the main Newport to Sandown road is backed up from the airport to Hale Common, is reported to be very slow moving in parts.
