Man Found Unresponsive in Van on Hard Shoulder
On the evening of Monday 11 April, police rushed to the M11 after reports of a dark-coloured van left unattended on the hard shoulder. The location was between the Redbridge roundabout and Loughton, just after 8pm BST.
Police Find Injured Man, Later Dies in Hospital
Officers arriving at the scene discovered a man inside the van who needed urgent medical attention. He was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital. Sadly, he has since died, with police now treating his death as unexplained.
Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
Essex Police have urged anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour on the stretch of the M11 between 7.30pm and 8.10pm on April 11 to come forward. Drivers with dashcam footage capturing anything unusual are especially asked to report it.
