Fire crews and police swooped on a Wembley property after flooding uncovered a massive cannabis farm worth over £20,000. The shocking discovery was made late Sunday evening on Harrow Road.

Resident Left to Foot the Flood Damage Bill

A local resident, forced to pick up the damage costs, raised the alarm just after 7pm on Monday. Water had flooded into their property from the flat above, prompting emergency services to act fast.

Firefighters Bust Illegal Grow Operation

Firefighters forced entry and found a large cannabis grow set-up with a dodgy, bypassed electricity supply. Officers remain at the scene, seizing plants and equipment as the police launch a full investigation.

The Met Police have been contacted for comment on the ongoing probe.
