Detectives have launched a murder probe after a deadly stabbing in Hammersmith.
Fatal Attack in Lena Gardens
Police were called just before 6pm on Sunday, 15 March to a residential address in Lena Gardens, Hammersmith, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers arrived alongside paramedics to find two men with stab wounds. Tragically, an 18-year-old victim died at the scene despite lifesaving efforts.
Suspect in Custody but Hospitalised
The second man, aged in his 30s, was taken to the hospital and later arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in stable condition and will be taken into police custody once discharged.
Police believe the victim and suspect knew each other and are treating the case as an isolated incident.

Superintendent Pali Grewal, leading neighbourhood policing in Hammersmith and Fulham, said:
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this tragic time. We understand this news is upsetting for local residents. A crime scene is still in place at Lena Gardens and patrols have been stepped up. Please come forward if you have any information or concerns.”
