A 39-year-old man has been locked up for violently assaulting three children playing in a park, following a police crackdown in South Wales.
Luke Jancouski Sentenced to 18 Months
Luke Jancouski, from Trecynon, was handed a prison term of one year and six months after pleading guilty to multiple assault charges at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on March 5.
Attack Details Revealed
The court heard how, in early January 2026, three 11-year-old children were enjoying Aberdare Park when Jancouski approached and launched his attack:
- One child was poked in the eye and struck on the head.
- A second was punched, losing a tooth in the process.
- The third was punched in the nose.
