John Berylson, Millwall FC’s 70-year-old American chairman, has tragically died in a car accident in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Range Rover Rolls Over on Sippewissett Road Bend

Police say Berylson lost control of his Range Rover on a sharp bend along Sippewissett Road. The vehicle veered off the road, flipped, and ended up overturned against a tree in a ravine. Despite rescue efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles or people were involved.

Millwall Mourns “Generous and Devoted” Chairman

The news broke Tuesday evening when Millwall FC released a statement praising Berylson as a “truly great man, incredibly devoted to his family, and a person of remarkable generosity, warmth, and kindness.”

“John’s passion and tireless dedication helped steer Millwall through some of its most important years since he joined in 2006,” said CEO Steve Kavanagh.

“His energy both on and off the pitch pushed the club forward. His loss leaves a huge hole in our community.”
