Night Clash in Larkhill Leaves Taxi Passenger Fighting for Life
At around 3am, chaos hit The Packway, Larkhill, as a private hire taxi smashed head-on into another vehicle near the garrison church of St Alban the Martyr.
Serious Injuries and Hospital Rush
- A man in his 30s, riding in the taxi, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
- Three other men aged 20s, 30s, and 40s were taken to Salisbury District Hospital with minor injuries.
Road Closed as Investigation Unfolds
Police are probing the cause of the crash. They warn the road through Larkhill will stay shut for several hours during the collision investigation.
“Any witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage are urged to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 29 of today’s date,” police said.
