Search Underway After Person Goes Missing from River Stour Houseboat
Coastguard and Emergency Teams Mobilised
Coastguard crews from Deal, Dover, and Margate, along with the RNLI Lifeboat from Walmer and Kent Police officers, have launched a major search operation. The alarm was raised just after 2.30pm on Sunday, 20th March 2022, after reports of a Missing Person" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">missing person from a houseboat on the River Stour.
Massive Land and Water Search
Emergency services swiftly dispatched numerous personnel to scour both land and water in the immediate area. A Police Search Advisor (PolSA) is also on site, aiding in the frantic hunt. The UK Coastguard operations centre in Dover is coordinating the ongoing search effort.
