A Norfolk driver faced police fury after being caught driving with tyres completely detached — and over the drink-drive limit.
Tyres, Flying and Breath Test Fails
The Norfolk & Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team slammed the “unacceptable” behaviour on social media platform X. They revealed the driver was behind the wheel despite having tyres that were entirely detached from the vehicle.
Even worse, the driver blew 63 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath, well over the legal limit.
Harsh Penalty Hits Drunk Tyre-Offender
The reckless motorist has now been banned from driving for 20 months. On top of the ban, he faces £701 in fines and court costs.
This case is a stark reminder of the dangers of drink-driving — and the risks of ignoring basic vehicle safety.
