Leighton Finn-Gibbs Jailed Again for Drug Supply
Leighton Finn-Gibbs, 20, from Selkirk Close, Middlesbrough, has been locked up for 18 months after police found him with crack cocaine and cannabis. This marks his second stint behind bars for drug offences.
Police Raid Uncovers Drug Operation
On 30 December 2025, officers from the Middlesbrough Proactive Team raided a Wellesley Road property. Several people were there at the time. A woman at the scene held a mobile phone linking Finn-Gibbs directly to drug dealing. Messages on the phone revealed attempts to recruit others for selling class A drugs, confirming his role in the supply chain.
Criminal History and Police Response
Finn-Gibbs wasn’t new to trouble—he’d already served time for class A drug supply and dangerous driving after crashing into a police car. Middlesbrough Proactive Team Sergeant John Sproson said:
“Leighton Finn-Gibbs has again been found to be involved in drugs supply across Middlesbrough. We continue to tackle those pushing drugs on our streets and will keep putting offenders before the courts to protect the community.”
