School Boy Stabbed by Two in Southampton
A child has been injured in a suspected knife incident at a Southampton school. Police were called to Oasis Academy Mayfield School shortly after 14:00. Hampshire Constabulary said one child was reported to have suffered an injury and that a “bladed article” had been seized. A Statement from the school said: “We are aware of an incident that took place at the Academy today that was swiftly made safe by staff, and it is now being investigated by police.” He added Oasis Academy Mayfield had no higher priority than the safety and personal wellbeing of its young people in the school, at home and in the community.
