Sussex Police give donation to Brighton Food Bank

Brighton and Hove City Police have donated £900 to the Brighton Food Bank. The money from the Police Property Act Fund will be used to pay for extra shelving and cold storage of the food at the premises run by Brighton and Hove City Mission in Stanley Road. The food bank helps 25 people per day offering not only food but other support and advice. The Police Property Act Fund is made up of monies received by the police from the sale of found property and from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold. The money is then redistributed to support community projects and charitable organisations.
