A devastating car crash in County Mayo has resulted in the untimely death of Ciaran Keating, the older brother of renowned singer Ronan Keating. The collision, involving two vehicles, occurred around 3.35pm on Saturday in Ballymiles, near Swinford, according to the police.

Tragically, Ciaran Keating, aged in his 50s, lost his life in the incident. He and his wife, Ann Marie Keating, were en route to watch their son Ruairí play for Cork City FC when the accident transpired. The driver of the second vehicle sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Mayo University Hospital for medical treatment.
