Devastation in Ipswich as police launch murder investigation into the death of beloved mom, Karlie Sone, 28.

Tragic Discovery at Ipswich Home

Suffolk Police were called to a property on Russet Road just after 1am Tuesday following welfare concerns. They found Karlie Sone unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police confirmed Karlie’s identity, pending a formal inquest, and branded the case a murder inquiry.

Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute

“Our beloved Karlie Sone was a much-loved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, auntie, and friend. Our family is absolutely devastated that our beautiful Karlie has been ripped away from her two daughters and her family and friends, leaving an unfillable void in all of our hearts.”

Karlie’s family described her as “the most beautiful, caring soul you could ever wish to meet” and revealed her daughters were her whole world.

Community Rallies to Support

A GoFundMe campaign launched to cover funeral costs and support Karlie’s two young daughters has already raised more than £19,000, showing the community’s outpouring of support.

Suspect in Custody

Paul Stevenson, 39, of Fletcher Road, Ipswich, has been charged with Karlie’s murder. He remains remanded in custody and faces his next court hearing on May 11.

The family concluded: “Karlie will always be in our thoughts and memories, never forgotten. Though we’re heartbroken beyond words, her spirit lives on in her daughters, who will be cherished and loved just as she would have wanted.”
