Police are urgently hunting witnesses after a serious collision in Greetland, Halifax. At 11.07am on Friday, 13 March, an 86-year-old man was struck by a DAF heavy goods vehicle on Saddleworth Road, close to the Stainland Road junction.

Elderly Pedestrian in Critical Condition

The victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition remains very serious, causing alarm in the local community.
