A serious crash in Quinton has left one man fighting for his life, with police appealing for witnesses.

Collision on Clapgate Lane

West Midlands Police were called to Clapgate Lane, near the junction with Bell Heath Way in Birmingham, at around 11.10pm on Monday. A car collided with a tree, leaving two men injured.

Driver Arrested, Victim Critically Injured

  • A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified. He was hospitalised with an arm injury.
  • A 26-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a life-threatening condition.

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

Specialist officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are probing the crash and trying to piece together exactly what happened.
