Blackshear, Georgia, is in shock after part-time Assistant Fire Chief Vernon “Leon” Davis was killed in a freak accident during Tropical Storm Helene on Friday morning. Blackshear Police Chief Chris Wright told UK News in Picture, “He had just finished helping the community when the tree fell on his truck.”
