Teen Girl Stabbed Near West London School – Man Arrested

A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after being stabbed near a West London school on Wednesday evening, sparking a major emergency response.

Stabbing Near Alec Reed Academy

The horrifying attack happened at around 8.15pm on Godfrey Avenue, UB5, close to Alec Reed Academy in Northolt.

Police and paramedics quickly swarmed the scene after reports of a stabbing. The victim was found with a cut to her head and was rushed to hospital. A crime scene was immediately set up as officers sealed off the area.

Victim Taken to Hospital – Injury Not Life-Threatening

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said:

“We were called at 8.14pm to reports of a stabbing near Godfrey Avenue. We sent ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and a tactical response unit. We treated a 1 at the scene and took her to hospital.”

Thankfully, the girl’s injury has been described as non-life-threatening.

Man Arrested at Scene on Suspicion of GBH

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He remains in police custody as investigations continue.

“Police were called at approximately 8.15pm to reports of a stabbing in Godfrey Avenue, Northolt. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a woman suffering a head injury; she was taken to hospital. A crime scene was put in place while the incident was dealt with. Enquiries into the circumstances continue,” said a Met spokesperson.

Police Issue Witness Appeal

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the stabbing or has footage to come forward urgently.
