20-Year-Old Busted After £30k iPhone Haul in Lakeside Heist

A daring raid at Lakeside shopping centre has landed a 20-year-old man in hot water after he stole tens of thousands of pounds worth of brand-new iPhone 17s.

Robbery and Attempted Robbery Charges Filed

Avram Stoica, who currently has no fixed address, faces charges for stealing over £30,000 worth of iPhones from the Apple store on 22 September.

On the same day, he is also charged with attempted robbery at another Apple store in Brent Cross.

Weapon Charges Add to His Legal Woes

Stoica has been slapped with two counts of possessing offensive weapons in public, escalating his legal troubles.

He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday 24 November.
