Jacqueline Ashberry, 61, of James Road in Kidderminster, was sentenced on Thursday, May 27, 2022, at Worcester Crown Court.

Ashberry became an unofficial caregiver for the elderly victim, a 25-year acquaintance, during which time she controlled her finances and scammed her of her life savings*.
