Car ploughs through Fareham shop front

A car has ploughed through the front of a shop in Fareham. Emergency services were called to at Highlands Road in Fareham this morning (March 5) after a silver be golf ploughed through the shop frontage of the Premier Express shop. Hampshire Fire and Rescue sent a crew from Fareham who attended and carried out scene safety and checked the structure of building following the single vehicle collision. Paramedics treated the driver who escaped serious injury. The vehicle has been deemed a total write off and will have to be winched from the front after causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
