At around 10.15pm on Sunday 28 March 2021 it is reported that a man entered the Best Western Signature Carlton Hotel on Grove Road and stole a black Sony 42-inch television. The man took the television out through an open window and put it into a red Peugeot 206 estate. He is described as white, aged in his 30s and five feet six inches tall. He was wearing a tracksuit, a black jacket and a black mask. The driver of the vehicle is described as a white man, aged between 50 and 60 years old with short white hair and a short white beard. He was wearing brown glasses. Police Constable Matthew Howe, of Bournemouth police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch. “I would also urge anyone who recognises the two men from the descriptions given to please contact Dorset Police. “If you have been offered a Sony television for sale locally in unusual circumstances, please come forward and report it to police.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55210049182.
