Bold TV Heist at Best Western Hotel – Police Hunt Two Men
Just after 10pm on Sunday 28 March 2021, a daring theft went down at the Best Western Signature Carlton Hotel on Grove Road. A man snatched a black Sony 42-inch TV, hauling it out through an open window and loading it into a red Peugeot 206 estate.
Suspects’ Descriptions Released
- The thief: a white male, around 30 years old, about 5ft 6in tall. He wore a tracksuit, black jacket, and black mask.
- The getaway driver: a white man aged 50-60, with short white hair and a short white beard, sporting brown glasses.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Police Constable Matthew Howe of Bournemouth police said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch.
I would also urge anyone who recognises the two men from the descriptions given to please contact Dorset Police.
If you have been offered a Sony television for sale locally in unusual circumstances, please come forward and report it to police.”
