Zeusch Aviation Aircraft Crashes at Southend Airport in Fireball – Emergency Services Respond


An aircraft operated by Zeusch Aviation, a Dutch special operations aviation company, has reportedly crash-landed at Southend Airport, resulting in a huge fireball and a major emergency response.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:00pm, when a small plane was seen descending before bursting into flames upon impact. Multiple fire and ambulance crews have since arrived at the scene, joining the airport’s onsite fire service.

Eyewitnesses described seeing a plume of black smoke and hearing a loud explosion near the runway.

Dani Hill, a nearby resident, told spoke with UKNIP
“I saw the huge fireball from my window. I’m still shaking like mad. I’ve never seen anything like it. Praying all involved are OK if any.”

Aircraft Believed to Be from Zeusch Aviation

Sources suggest the plane involved may be operated by Zeusch Aviation, a company based at Lelystad Airport (EHLE) in the Netherlands. The firm operates a fleet of Beechcraft King Air 200s and C90A aircraft, widely used for:

Zeusch describes its aircraft as the “Swiss Army knives of the air”, capable of operating from short and soft runways, making them ideal for complex missions including medevac and live event broadcasting.

It is unclear at this stage whether the aircraft was conducting a surveillance, mapping, or medical flight when the crash occurred.

Casualty Details Unknown

Authorities have not yet confirmed how many people were on board, or if there are any fatalities or injuries. Emergency services continue to secure the scene, and flight operations at Southend Airport may remain disrupted.

Multiple ambulance crews have been observed arriving, and the scene is being treated as a major incident.

In a short Statment Essex Police said: We remain on the scene of a serious incident at Southend Airport.

We were alerted shortly before 4pm to reports of a collision involving one 12-metre plane.

As a precaution due to their proximity to the incident, we are evacuating the Rochford Hundred Golf Club and Westcliff Rugby Club.
