Jewellery and Cash Stolen in Freshwater Burglary

Police are hunting thieves after a break-in on Afton Road, Freshwater. The raid happened between 10.30am and 2.30pm on Monday, October 17.

Priceless Rings and Bracelet Taken

Burglars made off with four gold rings, a bracelet packed with sentimental value, and £150 in cash. The bracelet is especially dear—it belonged to the victim’s late mother, who passed away 11 years ago.

Police Urge Locals for Info

PC Hayley from Isle of Wight CID appealed: “Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area? You might know where the stolen items are or who has them.”

She added, “The bracelet is very special to the victim, and she just wants it returned.”
