Police launch Probe after Man Approaches 10 year old in Southampton
Police are appealing for information after an incident that occurred at the St James’ Park end of Bellemoor Road in Shirley yesterday afternoon (Monday 30 April). Officer were called at 3.36pm to a report of a man approaching a 10-year-old boy and behaving suspiciously. The man ran off down Bellemoor Road in the direction of Hill Lane. This was at the end of the school day and we believe lots of people were around that might be able to help us understand the exact circumstances of what happened. The man has been described as: • Black • Beard • Black t-shirt • Blue skinny jeans Did you see this incident or have any information that could assist us? Southampton West Neighbourhood Policing team have been carrying out patrols in the area this morning and continue to work closely with Shirley Junior School and surrounding schools while the investigation in ongoing.
