Hit-and-Run Horror in Wraysbury: Man Killed by Fleeing 4×4

Thames Valley Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash in Wraysbury last Sunday night. A 35-year-old man from Staines was hit by a vehicle on the B376 Wraysbury Road at around 9pm and died at the scene.

Driver Flees, Vehicle Still Missing

The cruel driver didn’t stop. The vehicle—believed to be a silver Ford Ranger 4×4 double cab pick-up—has yet to be found. Police found the registration plate at the scene but the car itself remains at large.

“If you see a vehicle matching this description with front-end damage and missing its number plate, please contact us immediately,” said Inspector Simon Hills from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing.

The crash shut the road for hours as officers combed the scene. They’re also urging anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage near Wraysbury Road at the time to come forward.
