Armed Robbery Shakes Reigate Morrisons

An armed robbery struck the Morrisons supermarket in Reigate’s Bell Street at around 12:40pm today (22 June). Four men threatened staff and made off with a large haul of spirits.

Drama at the Checkout: Suspects Push Shoppers Aside

The gang fled through the emergency exit, shoving shoppers out of the way as they escaped. They headed off in a silver saloon car, police say.

Suspect Descriptions Released, Two Arrested

  • Suspect 1: Black male, 32, slim build, long black hair, dressed in black tracksuit.
  • Suspect 2: White male, 20s-30s, light blonde hair, white t-shirt, blue jeans.
  • Suspect 3: White male, 40-50, 5ft 10, large build, grey hair, multi-coloured t-shirt, jeans.
  • Suspect 4: White male, no further details available.

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of robbery. The others remain at large with a search ongoing.
