A man has been charged after a brazen robbery in Orpington where a beloved puppy was stolen from its owner.

Suspect Nabbed and Charged

Francis Zeta, from High Street, Plaistow E13, was arrested on suspicion of robbery on Thursday, 5 March. Tonight, he was formally charged and remanded in custody. Zeta is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 7 March.

Puppy Found and Safe

The drama unfolded after a local man reported his puppy, Spot, had vanished from Lullingstone Crescent on Tuesday, 3 March. Fortunately, Spot was later found wandering the street and has been safely returned to his relieved owners.
