Manhunt Underway for Dangerous Fugitive in Blackburn
Police are hunting Mohammed Rehan Awan, aka Ronnie, who’s believed to be hiding in Blackburn. Officers now have fresh leads on his location and say it’s only a matter of time before he’s caught.
Wanted Over Aggravated Burglary and Prison Escape
Awan, also known as 1 Rahan Malik, is wanted over an aggravated burglary on Devon Road, Blackburn, on January 29. The 30-year-old, who used to live on Livingstone Road, is also on the run after absconding from HMP Kirkham on October 25.
He was jailed in June 2017 for 10 years for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Police believe he has connections in Clitheroe and Nelson.

- Hair: short black
- Facial hair: full beard and moustache
PC Mark Slater said: “If Ronnie sees this appeal I would advise him to hand himself in to the police immediately. I would also urge anybody who has any information on his whereabouts to let us know, and remind anyone helping him that assisting an offender is a criminal offence.”
