Crash chaos in Littlehampton as 5-year-old girl seriously hurt

Crash shatters Saturday morning calm

Police are hunting witnesses after a collision in Littlehampton’s Wick area on Saturday, May 4th. The smash happened around 11:30am on Daisyfields involving a black Mercedes A180 and a grey Ford Transit van.

Young girl seriously injured, driver hospitalised

A five-year-old girl, a passenger in the Mercedes, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital. The car’s driver, a 35-year-old local woman, was also treated but had less severe injuries.

Ford Transit left abandoned

Authorities say the grey Ford Transit was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Investigators are now appealing for any CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage showing the vehicles near the scene during the incident.
