Swindon Drug Bust: Three Arrested in Major Police Raid
Big Haul and Bold Charges
A 20-year-old man from Swindon was arrested for suspected Class A and B drug supply, plus violence to secure entry, criminal damage, and assaulting an emergency worker. Police swooped on the premises after a targeted operation.
Alongside him, a 50-year-old local woman was nabbed on suspicion of helping an offender, while a 27-year-old man also faces charges for intentionally assisting an offence. All three are now behind bars at Gablecross Police Station.
Police Push Back on Community Fears
Acting Detective Inspector Matt Smith assured the public there’s no connection between the raid and weekend events in Rodbourne. “There is no risk to the wider community,” he stated, promising stepped-up uniform patrols patrols across Swindon to keep residents safe.
Stay Alert, Report Suspicious Activity
Det Insp Smith urged locals to help police by reporting any criminal behaviour. “If you want to report anything, call us on 101. Always dial 999 if it’s an emergency,” he said.
He also thanked officers and encouraged the community to come forward with vital information to support ongoing investigations.
