Two Teens Charged with Murder of Handsworth Boy

Detectives have charged two teenagers over the brutal killing of 15-year-old Keon Lincoln in Handsworth.

The suspects, a 14-year-old from Birmingham and a 15-year-old from Walsall, have been remanded in custody. They are set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 1 February.

Keon Lincoln was fatally wounded on Linwood Road on Thursday, 21 January, suffering both gunshot and stab injuries. The community has been left reeling from his tragic death.

“The death of Keon has left so many devastated,” said Detective Chief Inspector Alastair Orencas. “The whole community has felt the pain of losing a 15-year-old boy with his life ahead of him.”

“These charges mark a major step in our investigation, but we remain relentless in seeking justice for Keon. If you have any information, please come forward—it could be crucial.”
