Weapons Brawl Erupts in Fleetwood Car Park
Police rushed to The Esplanade in Fleetwood at 8.05pm on Monday after reports of a violent clash involving men armed with bats and machetes.
The groups fled the scene in two separate vehicles before officers arrived.
Detectives Hunt for Suspects
Detective Inspector Abi Finch-Hall of Blackpool Police condemned the violent disorder. She said: “We will not tolerate such behaviour. Enquiries are ongoing to identify suspects and make further arrests.”
She added that police presence in the area has been ramped up to crack down on those responsible.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
DI Finch-Hall urged anyone with information or video evidence of the incident to come forward immediately. She said: “Do you know who was involved? Please contact us if you can help. Anyone with CCTV or camera footage showing the fighting should speak to police.”
