Teen Arrested Over Woolwich Stabbing Murder
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Tamim in a shocking Woolwich stabbing. The teen is now in custody at a south London police station.
Tragic Stabbing on Woolwich New Road
Police were called at 5.23pm on Monday, 5 July, following reports of a stabbing on Woolwich New Road, SE18. Officers arrived to find Tamim with a single stab wound. Despite immediate first aid and paramedics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.08pm.
Investigation Intensifies as Police Seek Public Help
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard, leading the probe, said: “This arrest marks a significant development in our investigation. Officers have been working tirelessly to bring justice to Tamim and his family.”
He added: “We know footage related to this murder is circulating on social media. Any videos or images could be crucial. Please upload anything you have to the police.”
