Man, 25, Dies After Brutal Stabbing on Battenberg Road
Tragedy struck Bolton on Saturday night when 25-year-old Tyrone Williamson was found stabbed on Battenberg Road. Emergency services rushed him to hospital, but he sadly died from his injuries.
Second Stabbing on Lincoln Road Leaves Man in Hospital
Just two hours later, police were called to another stabbing on Lincoln Road at 8.40pm. A 41-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious wounds.
Suspects Charged in Murder and Attempted Murder Cases
- Anthony Derek George, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with Tyrone’s murder.
- Four men – Roy Meanly, Nathan Carney-Williamson, Jason Wilding, and Adam Disa Green – have been charged with attempted murder related to the Lincoln Road attack.
George will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court this Saturday. The four others face Manchester Crown Court on 19 January.
