Three Arrests Made After Mansfield Burglary
Police launched a major investigation after a burglary on Surrey Drive, Mansfield, on 27 June 2023. It swiftly led to three arrests.
Two Men Charged with Burglary and Drug Possession
Dean Graves, 49, and Aaron Tomkinson, 33, both with no fixed address, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 5 July. Both face burglary charges, while Tomkinson also faces possession of cannabis.
The pair were remanded in custody and are set to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 2 August.
Third Suspect Also Held
Kieran Bedford, 29, also with no fixed address, was charged with burglary. He appeared in court on 6 July and was remanded in custody. Bedford will also face Nottingham Crown Court on 2 August.
Police Vow to Crack Down on Burglary
Detective Inspector Simon Harrison said: “Here in Nottinghamshire, we take all reports of burglary extremely seriously and we work hard every day with our partners to prevent house burglaries taking place.
“However, when they do occur, we attend each and every offence, investigate, and will always do everything we can to bring offenders to justice.”
