A lawyer representing the young person involved in the recent BBC presenter scandal has dismissed claims made by the mother as “rubbish,” stating that “nothing inappropriate or unlawful has taken place.” The lawyer’s statement contradicts the story that an unnamed presenter paid a teenager for sexually explicit images.
In a letter sent to the BBC, the lawyer emphasized that a denial letter was already issued to The Sun newspaper on Friday, asserting that there was no truth to the allegations. However, despite the denial, The Sun proceeded to publish what the lawyer referred to as an “inappropriate article.”
