Drug Dealer Locked Up for Over Five Years After Knife and Class A Drugs Seized in Walton
Heroin, Crack, and a Knife Found on Liverpool Man
Korben Bell, 21, from Rice Lane, Liverpool, has been jailed for more than five years at Liverpool Crown Court. Police uncovered heroin, crack cocaine, two mobile phones, and a 6-inch lockable knife during a raid in Walton.
Serious Violence Reduction Order Issued
Alongside his prison sentence, Bell was slapped with a two-year Serious Violence Reduction Order (SVRO). This civil order lets police stop and search Bell in public to check for weapons once he’s out.
How the Arrest Went Down
On June 14, officers spotted Bell leaving his Rice Lane home. The moment he saw police, he made a run but dropped a deadly knife on the street. He was arrested the next day, charged with multiple drug offences and possession of an offensive weapon.
Police then searched Bell’s house and found cash, cannabis bags, phones, plus deals of heroin and crack hidden in a shoebox in his bedroom.
Cops Praise Officers, Urge Public to Report Crime
“Our officers bravely stopped Bell, who was storing dangerous drugs and carrying a knife that could have seriously harmed people,” said Detective Inspector Gary Stratton.
“Bell’s jail term sends a clear message: dealing drugs and carrying knives won’t be tolerated. We urge anyone with info to get in touch so we can keep criminals off our streets.”
