Tragic Death of Young Boy Harry Dennis After Horror Crash
Police rushed to the B2095 at 3.05pm on Thursday, December 15, following a smash between a car and a flatbed van. Paramedics quickly arrived, and the young boy involved, named Harry Dennis, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Tragically, Harry passed away on Saturday, December 17, despite desperate efforts to save him.
Man Arrested Over Deadly Crash
A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene before Harry’s death on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was later released on unconditional bail but remains under investigation.
Police Plea for Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Rob Baldwin from the Serious Collision Investigations Unit said:
“Our thoughts are with Harry’s family and friends at this very difficult time. We continue to support them and keep them updated on the investigation’s progress. We are appealing to anyone who saw the collision or has dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward. Your help is vital.”
