A woman was reportedly raped by a man she knew in the New Town Green area between 1am and 4am on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the attack but has since been released on bail as investigations continue.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward. They are especially keen to speak to two men spotted on Newtown Road around the time of the incident. These men are believed to have given the victim a coat.
