Fugitive nabbed as soon as he lands in UK!

Tarik Namik Skips Court, Gets Eight Years Behind Bars

Tarik Namik dodged justice by failing to show up in court last December. The 45-year-old, wanted since a 2017 investigation, was sentenced to eight years in prison in his absence, the National Crime Agency (NCA) confirmed.

Warrant Issued After Court No-Show

Namik was due in Manchester Magistrates’ Court on December 9 but went AWOL. Authorities swiftly issued a warrant for his arrest.

Arrested Instantly on UK Soil

The NCA revealed Namik was caught the moment he touched down back in the UK. Cooperation with international partners ensured the fugitive’s quick snare.

Next Stop: Crown Court

Originally scheduled for a hearing on Saturday, Namik is now expected to face sentencing in the Crown Court come Monday.
