London Fire Brigade Battles Blaze
The Brigade’s 999 Control Centre was bombarded with alerts, prompting crews from Greenwich, Deptford, New Cross, and East Greenwich fire stations to respond.
They arrived at 4.03pm and had the fire under control by 4.55pm.
