A 30-year-old man has been charged with assault following a Metropolitan Police investigation into an incident at a nightclub in central London. Ivan Toney, of Northampton, was charged on Thursday, July 31, with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The charge relates to an alleged assault at a nightclub on Wardour Street in Soho, London, on December 6, 2025.

Due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Toney is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 24. A Met spokesperson said: “A man has been charged with assault following a Met investigation. “Ivan Toney, 30, of Northampton, was charged on Thursday, 31 July with assault causing actual bodily harm. “He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 24 September. “The charge relates to an assault, which reportedly took place on 6 December 2025 at a nightclub on Wardour Street, W1.” Court proceedings are now active.
