Tragic Crash in Telford: Man and Teen Girl Killed, Two Boys Hurt
A fatal smash in Trench, Telford has claimed the lives of a man and a teenage girl in the early hours today. Two teenage boys from the same car were rushed to hospital following the horror collision.
Deadly Crash Caught Emergency Services Out
West Midlands Ambulance Service got the call at 2.13am after a single car crashed at the junction of B4373 and A442 in Trench. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, plus a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic sped to the scene.
Driver and Passenger Die on Impact
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Upon arrival we found a man and a teenage girl who were the driver and passenger in the car. Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save them and they were confirmed deceased at the scene.”
Two Teenage Boys Injured, Rushed to Hospital
“Two teenage boys who were passengers in the car were treated by ambulance staff. One suffered serious injuries, received advanced trauma care, and was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The other had less serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by land ambulance,” the spokeswoman added.
Passer-By Unharmed
A man passing by was checked over by ambulance staff and found uninjured. He received self-care advice and was discharged at the scene.
