Keziah Macharia – 41 of Montague Road, E8 will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 22 December charged with the murder of her son, four-year-old Kobi Dooley-Macharia.
A special post-mortem is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 28 December.
An investigation was launched after police were called to an address in Montague Road, E8 at approximately 10.50pm on Wednesday, 20 December following concerns for the welfare of a child. Kobi was found suffering knife injuries; he was taken to hospital for treatment but subsequently died from his injuries.
