Notorious Telford paedophile Murabek Ali has admitted a string of horrific sex crimes against a child. The 40-year-old, currently jailed at HMP Hewell, pleaded guilty to:
- Two counts of rape
- One count of trafficking for sexual exploitation
- Three counts of sexual activity with a child
- One count of indecent assault
Abuse Spanned Four Years
The vile offences happened between 2004 and 2008, targeting a girl aged just 14. Shrewsbury Crown Court heard disturbing details of Ali’s twisted actions.
Already Behind Bars for Child Sexual Exploitation
Ali is no stranger to prison. In 2012, he was sentenced to 14 years following a West Mercia Police probe into child exploitation in Telford, famously known as Operation Chalice.
Detective Praises Victim’s Bravery
Detective Sergeant Cindi Lee said: “This verdict brings some closure, but it can never fully compensate for the lifelong trauma suffered by the victim and her family. Ali is a highly dangerous individual who preyed on young girls, and his actions are incomprehensible.”
She added, “Reporting crimes like these takes immense strength, and we stand by survivors throughout the court process.”
Ali denied one count of sexual activity with a child and two counts of indecent assault. Those charges will now lie on file. His sentencing is set for Monday, May 20, at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
